The Muscular System provides motor power for all movements of body parts. It is an important system of the human body because without it, life will completely stop. Skeletal muscles produce those movements that are under our control that we can feel and see; smooth muscles are found inside organs and help move substances through those organs, such as for breathing and digestion of food; cardiac muscles are found in the heart and help pump blood.
